Bx6 A Retrospective

Starting in the beginning of April Bay State Sail Freight was participating in the Bx6 Excelerator.  This accelerator provided us access to the entrepreneurial network of coastal Massachusetts.  Organized and run by Judith Underwood, we were given good guidance on direction and local opportunities.  Over the course of 3 months, we had the opportunity to meet weekly with great mentors and local experts on all things related to startups.  This all came to a close just over a month ago at the end of June with demo day.

Demo day was the final presentation we gave as part of the organized group of startups; we presented to a range of local community members and interested parties.  For us specifically, the biggest takeaway was the connections made to the Plymouth Foundation.  We are excited as we look forward to their Seal the Deal event this coming fall and hope to see many familiar faces there.
